The Hardware Compatibility Assessment for vSAN Tool provides a comprehensive report that verifies hardware compatibility for the hosts comprising the selected vSAN cluster. The hosts will report the compatibility of storage devices, network interface cards (NICs), and host memory against the version of vSAN installed. The report will provide compatibility summaries and recommendations for vSAN Express Storage Architecture (ESA) and the older, original storage architecture (OSA).
